The Staff

Dr. John Stritikus, a board certified pediatric dentist, has been in private practice since 1999.  He attended the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry from 1993-1997.  He then completed a 2 year pediatric dentistry residency 1997-1999, also at the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry.  Dr. John has excelled in his specialty and is an active member of many professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Nashville Dental Society and the Tennessee Dental Association.  Dr. John is dedicated to providing all of his patients with the most comprehensive and advanced pediatric dental care available.  Dr John grew up in Montgomery AL.  He attended Auburn University in Montgomery AL from 1990-1993.

During his residency, Dr. John received extensive training in hospital dentistry for children at prestigious hospitals such as LeBonheur Children's Hospital and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.  He is able to provide comprehensive dental treatment with the use of general anesthesia in a hospital setting for children with severe dental problems as well as patients with special needs. He is currently one of a few pediatric dentists with privileges to treat children at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, Horizon Medical Center and Centennial Surgery Center.

His wife Amy Williford Stritikus grew up in Trenton TN (North of Jackson).  She is a Registered Dental Hygienist.  Dr. John and Amy met in Memphis TN and were married in 1998.  They have a son (John Harold) and a daughter (Olivia Grace) along with three golden retrievers (Amos, Pearl and Cooper).

Dr. Justin Robbins attended University of Tennessee-Memphis Dental School. He graduated from dental school in 1999. After graduating dental school, Dr. Justin practiced dentistry for 5 years in the United States Navy. Four of those years were spent in Yokosuka, Japan. Because of his enjoyment of children, Dr. Justin decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry after completing his assignment with the navy. He has been doing his 2 year residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. This residency, which is soon to be complete, will enable Dr. Justin to join Dr. John at Dickson Pediatric Dentistry in July 2006.

Dr. Justin and his wife, Leslie have 3 young sons. Jack is 9 years old. He plays soccer and loves to draw. Luke is 7 years of age and chooses t-ball as his sport. Luke also loves to go fishing. Little John Tyler is 3 years old. He smiles a lot and likes to hang out with mom. Sports, fishing, and hunting are Dr. Justin’s favorite hobbies. Of course with 3 young sons, his wife Leslie has a full-time hobby of keeping up with their activities, as well as anticipated community involvement.

The Robbins family will be settling in Burns, Tennessee. Dr. Justin and his family are excited about putting down their roots in Dickson County, and are looking forward to meeting new people and getting involved in the community.
