John C. Stritikus, DDS


Dr. John Stritikus, a Board-certified pediatric dentist, has been in private practice since 1999. He is now proudly seeing 2nd generation patients as he is treating the children of adult former patients. Dr. John attended Auburn University in Montgomery Alabama from 1990-1993. He then attended the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry from 1993-1997. Dr. John’s pediatric residency, from 1997-1999, was also at the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry. During his residency, he received extensive training in hospital dentistry for children at prestigious hospitals such as LeBonheur Children’s Hospital and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Dr. John has also completed training in infant tongue tie releases and is treating those here in our office. Since 1999, he has provided comprehensive dental treatment with the use of general anesthesia in a hospital setting for children with severe dental problems. He is currently one of a few pediatric dentists with privileges to treat children at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Dr. John is an active member of many professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Nashville Dental Society, and the Tennessee Dental Association. He is dedicated to providing all of his patients with the most comprehensive and advanced pediatric dental care available. He also believes in treating every child as an individual and therefore utilizes many methods to provide children with the best and most comfortable dental experience possible.
Away from the office, he and his wife Amy stay extremely busy with their 2 children, John Harold and Olivia Grace, and their family and children’s activities. They also have 3 beloved golden retrievers that add to the family’s fun and busy schedule!!
