
Dr. Kirkland Fehrman graduated with his B.S. in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University as well as his D.M.D. doctorate degree and Certificate of Public Health from Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health. After graduating, Dr. Kirkland worked as a General Dentist in the northern parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin at Lake Superior Community Health Center before deciding to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry. He completed his two-year Pediatric Dental Residency at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.
He is currently practicing as a pediatric associate dentist here in Dickson, Tennessee and we feel very fortunate to have him on board at our office. He is also able to provide comprehensive dental treatment with the use of minimal (anxiolytic) and moderate sedation along with general anesthesia in a hospital setting for treating children with more complicated medical conditions and severe dental needs. In 2023, Dr. Kirkland also completed his Certificate in Laser Treatment on Infant and Pediatric Tongue Ties and Lip Ties from the American Board of Laser Surgery (ABLS).
Dr. Kirkland is currently an active member of the Nashville Dental Society, Tennessee Dental Society, American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Society for Pediatric Sedation, and Special Care Dentistry Association. Dr. Kirkland and his wife currently reside in Franklin, Tennessee.
When he isn’t treating patients, Dr. Kirkland can be found at the gym, weightlifting during the earliest hours of the day or watching his Packers beat the Bears on a Sunday afternoon.
